My note:
To have been truly blessed with creatures like "Johnathon" as portrayed in the above works should be a true testimant to man's awe of all creatures, especially his responsibility towards them.
I read this book at the tender age of 12 and think it has affected my life to one degree or another over time. It helped me form an understanding that maybe animals think and have feelings especially dogs and horses that I loved, not to forget the pigeons of course. Johnathon Livingston Seagull helped me think about life from a greater perspective and many years since my first read I sill look at life and pets with wonder.
If you are young, read this book, if not read it anyway you may be surprised to find out it has very little to do with seagulls and more to do about "YOU".
